Please plan to arrive early for your first visit to the Joy Center because you will want time to look around and acquaint yourself with this beautiful place.

Allow ½ hour for the drive from Marquette to the Joy Center and at least 15 minutes to enjoy a tour of this wonderful joyful Creative Sanctuary for the Body. Mind. Spirit.

Directions:

From Marquette & Negaunee:

Take US 41 West past Ishpeming
Turn Left just before Da Yoopers Tourist Trap
on to Cooper Lake Cutacross Rd.
Take Cooper Lake Cutacross Rd. across railroad track
Turn right on to North Lake Dr.
Take North Lake Drive to Copper St.
Turn left onto Copper St. (just before church)
Continue on Copper St., there will be a 90º turn to the right
Copper St. turns into Southwood Dr. at that point.
The Joy Center is the fourth drive on the right (just past the street light)
A sign with the address – 1492 - is out front.
Turn in the tree lined drive. There is a turn around.

From the West:

Take US 41 East
Turn Right just past Da Yoopers Tourist Trap
on to Cooper Lake Cutacross Rd.
Take Cooper Lake Cutacross Rd. across railroad track
